Que-1: Is it possible to have an accelerated motion with a constant speed? Name such type of motion.

Ans.  Uniform circular motion is such type of motion.  an accelerated motion with constant speed is possible. this motion is a such type of motion.

Que-2: Give an example of motion in which speed remains uniform, but the velocity changes.

Ans. the cases where speed is same. like artificial satellite motion. but velocity changes.

Que-3 Name the force required for circular motion. State its direction.

Ans. The direction of Centripetal force is always directed towards the center of circle. which means it is required centripetal force for circular motion.

Que-4: Is centrifugal force a real force?

Ans. The fictious force is a centripetal force we know so it is proved centripetal force is not a real force.

(a) Earth moves around the Sun with a uniform velocity.

Ans. (a) False

Reason —  The Earth moves with uniform velocity. It follows an elliptical orbit, because earth move around the sun which means its speed varies as it travels around the Sun.

(b) The motion of Moon around Earth in a circular path is an accelerated motion.
