Sol:  (i) (x . x . x . x. x) (x. x)
= (x^5) . (x²)
= x^(5+2)      [x^m . x^n = x^(m+n)]
= x^7.

= -1(n³) . (n²)
= -1{n^(3+2)
= -n^5.

(iii) y8 x y5 x y²
= y^(8+5+2)
= y^15.

(iv) – x (- x4)
= x^1 . x^5
= x^(1+5)
