Answer 1: The Function of the heart:
- The heart’s primary function is to pump blood throughout the body.
- It supplies oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and removes carbon dioxide and waste from the blood.
- It also helps to maintain adequate blood pressure throughout the body.
- Heart pumps the blood throughout the body, hence playing an important role in maintaining body temperature.

Answer 2: The Function of the blood vessels:
1.The most important types, arteries, and veins, carry blood away from or towards the heart, respectively.
2.All blood vessels have the same basic structure.
3.The inner lining is the endothelium and is surrounded by subendothelial connective tissue.
4.Around this, there is a layer of vascular smooth muscle, which is highly developed in arteries.

Answer 3:The Function of the red blood vessels:
The primary function of red blood cells is to transport oxygen to body cells and deliver carbon dioxide to the lungs. A red blood cell has what is known as a biconcave shape.

The normal platelet count is 150,000-350,000 per microliter of blood, but since platelets are so small, they make up just a tiny fraction of the blood volume. The principal function of platelets is to prevent bleeding. Red blood cells are the most numerous blood cell, about 5,000,000 per microliter.
