Cinna Decides to Go to Caesar’s Funeral
Cinna The poet decides to go to Caesar’s funeral. He lft the house and roaming on the way. However, he is stopped by a mob of aggressive plebeians / Romans who ask him many questions to confirm the identity.
Angry Mob Enquires to Cinna
The mob demand to know Cinna’s name, place, if he is married, and purpose of roaming. Cinna replys directly all questions – He says that he is unmarried bachelor and his named is Cinna and he dwell at Capitol., He added that he is going to Caesar’s funeral as a friend.
Cinna Replied His Name as Cinna The Poet
As soon as , when Cinna tells his name is Cinna, the plebeians immediately cried he is Cinna the Conspirator – who killed Caesar. He requests that he is Cinna the poet, not the conspirator, but the aggrrsive mob refuses hear the reason.
Mob Cry to Kill Him Cinna for Poems
When Cinna gave all correct and direct answer the plebeians decide kill Cinna anyway because of his poetry The mob prepares to attack him, ignoring that he is innocent. Just before they kill Cinna, Now the mob decides to leave and go to burn down the homes of other conpirator including Brutus and Cassius.
