In Macbeth Act-1 Scene-7 takes place at Macbeth castle.
Macbeth Thinks the Consequences of Murder
Act 1, Scene 7 of Macbeth at Macbeth’s castle, where a feast is being held to honor King Duncan. Macbeth goes a side to think the plan to murder the King. He is in doubtful about the murder, considering it is not correct and fearing the consequences. He acknowledges that the King has been good to him, and he worries about the moral consequence of his actions.
Lady Macbeth Use Trick to Ready Macbeth
As soon as Macbeth is busy in thinking, Lady Macbeth enters and encourage over his hesitation. She questions his courage and handover to their plan, reminding him of his promise. Lady Macbeth uses various trick to handle him as her plan, appealing to his sense of honor, ambition, and love for her and said that she would have killed her own child if she had made such a promise without hesitation.
Lady Macbeth Explain the Plan
Macbeth is in doubt about the possibility of their plan, but Lady Macbeth pressure him that they will succeed in their plan totally. She explain her plan to get Duncan’s chamberlains drunk so they can murder the King undetected and then blame the chamberlains easily.
Macbeth Agree and Resolved to Join the Murder
At the end of the scene-1 of Act-1, Macbeth agree and resolved to join the murder, influenced by Lady Macbeth’s tricky arguments and taunts. He decides to put on a pleasant mask to hide his dangerous intentions. The scene ends with them leaving to prepare for their plan of murder.
