No Fail Policy Cancel: The ‘no-detention’ or ‘no-fail’ provision, laid down under Section 16 of the Right To Education (RTE) Act, prohibits schools from detaining or expelling any student up to class 8. Under the current ‘no-fail’ policy, all students are promoted to the next grade up to class 8
As per report the NO FAIL POLICY was adopted for many years but this policy was hanel as mis uses by certain student . they have not focus in their study as well . This policy was mostly fitted for lower class of all board school.
Why This Policy Was Adopted
The NO FAIL POLICY came into existence when a lot of student disappointed on seeing the final result. To avoid depression and other life risky activity , the board had decided not to declare fail and hence started grading system in place of marking.

Many board has announced that there will be skill based question in not only board exam but also in other classes including junior class. High Order Thinking question is the fashion of the days due to competitive preparation. This type question is now common in some state board as well as CBSE board while CISCE board also announced currently to include such type analytical thinking questions in exam.
