CISCE Notice School: Vacation will Be Start From This Date. The Council For the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has sent a circular to heads of all affiliated schools, attaching the recent state school education department circular on advancement of summer vacation.

As media report The circular has been signed by chief executive & secretary of CISCE, Gerry Arathoon. The principal of ICSE / ISC school have received the circular today.  There will a circulate “a Google form” to parents to get their opinions.

Date of Summer Vacation in CISCE

” St Xavier’s Collegiate School has put up a notice on their website that the summer vacation will be from May 15 to June 12 and the last working day will be May 12. Other affiliated schools will discuss it next week.

Schools in the Hill Districts Not allowed Early Break

The summer vacation in some  schools usually start around the third week of May. The schools in the hill districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong will not have any early summer break.

The school education department had forwarded a copy of the order to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and Central Board of Secondary Education for “information and suitable necessary action”

The council has sent a circular addressed to the heads of all affiliated schools in the state and attached to it is a copy of the “self explanatory” order from the school education department.

 Meetings to Decide Early Summer Break

Schools will hold internal meetings to decide whether they should announce early summer break. Several private schools have suspended outdoor activities after 10am and children are being asked to stay indoors even during breaks.
