Answer: Given: 5 {(-6) + (12 ÷ 4)}
= 5 { -6 + 3}
= 5 × (-3)
= -15
(ii) 10 – {56 ÷ (-16 +9)}
Answer: Given: 10 – {56 ÷ (-16 +9)}
= 10 – {56 ÷ (-7)}
= 10 – {-8}
= 10 + 8
= 18
(iii) (-6) – {(-28) ÷ (-7)}
Answer: Given: (-6) – {(-28) ÷ (-7)}
= (-6) – {4}
= -6 – 4
= -10
(iv) 8 – {12 – (9 – 7 – 4)}
