Answer-3

Smallest number which is 1 more than 9, 99, 999 is = 9, 99, 999 + 1 = 10, 00, 000

Question -4.

Starting from the greatest 5-digit number, write the previous five numbers in descending order.

Answer-4

Greatest digit number = 99, 999
Next four numbers in descending order can be obtain by subtracting 1 from 99, 999 and then again subtract 1 from previous result till 4 step

99, 999-1= 99998

99, 998-1= 99997

99, 997-1= 99996

99, 996-1= 99995

Hence four numbers in descending order from 99, 999  are  99998 > 99997 > 99996 > 99995

Question- 5.

Starting from the smallest 7-digit number, write the next four numbers in ascending order.

Answer-5

Smallest 7-digit number = 10, 00, 000

Next four numbers in ascending order. can be obtain by adding 1 to 10, 00, 000 and then again add 1 from previous result till 4 step

10, 00, 000  + 1 = 10,00,001

10, 00, 001  + 1 = 10,00,002

10, 00, 002  + 1 = 10,00,003

10, 00, 003  + 1 = 10,00,004

Hence next four numbers in ascending order. from 10, 00, 000  are  10,00,001 < 1000002 < 1000003 < 1000004 <1000005
