Ans: The place where Tithonus lives with Aurora,is in the far east where it is always misty and gloomy. Poet describes it as “the ever-silent spaces of the East, Far-folded mists, and gleaming halls of morn.”Therefore it appear to be a cold, quiet, and dark place covered in dense mist.
Que-3: Explain the circumstances under which Tithonus was granted immortality.
Ans: Tithonus was booned immortality by beautiful Goddess Aurora after he had fallen in love. In his youthful passion and ardour, Tithonus requested Aurora to booned him immortality so he could live happily without ending while She booned him without thinking the result.
