Converting Decimal into Fraction
To convert a decimal into a fraction, we need to first write the given decimal in the form of a fraction, by adding a denominator 1. Then we need to multiply both numerator and denominator with the multiples of 10, to remove decimal (.) from the given number
Converting Fraction into Decimal
- Ensure the fraction is written with just a numerator and a denominator. If needed convert the mixed number to an improper fraction.
- Divide the numerator by the denominator.

(v) 5.4 = 54/10 = 27/5 = 5*(2/5)
(vi) 6.25 = 625/100 = 25/4 = 6*(1/4)
(vii) 8.125 = 8125/1000 = 65/8 = 8*(1/8)
(viii) 3.475 = 3475/1000 = 139/40 = 3*(19/40)
