Act-5 Scene-1 Summary of Macbeth
The act 5 scene 1 took place at Macbeth Castle of Dunsinane. It is night . On opening of scene A doctor and a gentlewoman wait. The gentlewoman called the doctor because she has seen Lady Macbeth sleepwalking the last few nights, but she refuses to say what Lady Macbeth says or does.

The gentlewoman, hesitant to reveal details without witnesses, remains silent until Lady Macbeth enters the scene, carrying a candle. Her eyes are open but seem vacant, and she continuously rubs her hands as if washing them.
