Act-5 Scene-2 Summary of Macbeth
This scene takes place near Birnam Wood, In the opening of scene Scottish lords like Menteith, Caithness, Angus, and Lennox, along with their soldiers, have gathered.
Macbeth’s Confidants Abandon Macbeth
Menteith, Caithness, Angus, and Lennox, along with their soldiers, have abandoned Macbeth and are now ready for joining forces with Malcolm, Macduff, and the English army to overthrow the tyrannical king from Scotland.
Lord said, “Macbeth is becoming isolated and paranoid”
The lords discuss the situation, revealing that Macbeth is becoming increasingly isolated and dis order. He has fortified Dunsinane castle and is relying on fear rather than loyalty to maintain control.
