Summary of Act-5, Scene-7

Macbeth Firmly Ready to Face Any Risk

Malcolm and his army surrounded Macbeth Castle all around. Macbeth supporter and officer have abounded him therefore he compare himself like a bear who has been trapped by hunter.

Witches Prophecy Fueling Macbeth

In spite of risk of death over his head Macbeth still firmly ready to face enemy bravely till last moment due to fueling the prophecy of witches.  He believes that a biological human can not kill him.

Macbeth kills Young Siward

Meanwhile the young Siward enter into the castle and challenge Macbeth by saying tyrant.  Young Siward faces Macbeth bravely but killed at last. This incident again filling him with energy and develop more confidence over witches prophecy that a biological man can not do any type harm him although this victory is for a while as Macduff enter in the scene to take revenge of murder done by Macbeth.

Macduff Resolved Do or Die

Macduff did not accept the proposal to include the hired soldiers of Macbeth, He focused himself against the tyrant only. Macduff swears to either kill tyrant Macbeth or put his sword in sheath forever. This promise highlighting the Macduff strong anger and revenge personally.

Tide of Battle Turns Against Macbeth

In the course of conflict the scene of battle changing and turs against Macbeth. Dunsinane has  been fallen by Malcolm’s forces therefor many officer and thanes have changed the side from tyrant Macbeth to Malcolm. Now Macbeth’s isolation and desperation grow with each passing moment.

Macbeth Refuse to Surrender Himself

Despite the facing of heavy risk, Macbeth refuse to surrender himself before enemy. His hope and pride given by witches prophecy keep him firm and rigid that no one can killed him if he was born naturally.

Macduff and Macbeth ready face to face Fight

At the closing of scene 7 of Act 5 Macduff is eagerly ready to fight Macbeth face to face duel war. This final decisive fight will determined the future of Scotland again.
