Question 2. If ξ = {x | x ϵ I, -5 ≤ x ≤ 5}, A = {-5, -3, 0, 3, 5} and B = {-4, -2, 0, 2, 4}, then
(i) Find A ∪ B and A ∩ B
(ii) Verify that n(A ∪ B) = n(A) + n(B) – n(A ∩ B).
(iii) Find A’ and verify that n(A) + n(A’) = n(ξ).
(iv) Find B’ and verify that n(B’) = n(ξ) – n(B)
(v) Find A ∪ A’, A ∩ A’, B ∪ B’ and B ∩ B’.
(vi) Find (A ∪ B)’ and A’ ∩ B’. Are they equal ?
(vii) Find (A ∩ B)’ and A’ ∪ B’. Are they equal
