IMP QUE:  what is malpighian capsule. Explain Its Function

Ans: The Malpighian capsule, also known as the renal corpuscle, is a part of the kidney’s nephron that filters blood plasma to produce urine.

Function: The Malpighian capsule’s function is to filter blood and separate waste from it. The filtrate then moves to tubules for further reabsorption and secretion

It’s made up of two parts:

Bowman’s capsule: A double-walled cup that encases the glomerulus. It’s the first part of the nephron where filtration begins.

Glomerulus: A network of capillaries that receives blood from the afferent arteriole and passes it on to the efferent arteriole
