In Maharastra
The summer holidays in the schools of the state have been declared by the Maharashtra government earlier than the pre-determined time. There will be summer holidays in Maharashtra schools from 18th April to 15th June.
Odisha government has also preponed the summer vacations
After Maharashtra, Odisha government has also preponed the summer vacations (Odisha School Summer Vacation 2024). According to reports, there will be summer vacations in schools in the state of Odisha from April 25. Besides, the state government has also changed the timings of schools from April 22 to April 24. For these 3 days, instructions have been issued to open schools only from 6.30 am to 10.30 am.
West Bengal government has also declared summer holidays
Similarly, the West Bengal government has also declared summer holidays in schools. According to reports, summer vacations have been implemented for schools in the state from April 22, even before the scheduled summer vacation
Jharkhand government has not yet made any changes
On the other hand, the Jharkhand government has not yet made any changes in the predetermined dates of summer vacations (Jharkhand School Summer Vacation Dates 2024). However, the state government has changed the timings of the schools. In schools in the state, classes from nursery to 8th will be held from 7 am to 11.30 am only, while classes for students of 9th to 12th will be held till 12 noon.

No change has been made yet by the Bihar government in the summer vacation dates (Bihar School Summer Vacation Dates 2024) in schools. However, instructions have been given by the Patna district administration to change the timings of the schools in the district. According to the information received, from April 20 in Patna, schools have been asked to conduct classes from nursery to 10th from 6.30 am to 11.30 am, while classes of 11th and 12th will continue as per the pre-determined schedule.
