Candidates who have been awarded a Pass Certificate in the ISC Year 2022 Examination or earlier, but would like to improve their grades in particular subject/s, may appear for the ISC Year 2023 Examination for a Supplementary Pass Certificate as:
Process for ISC Improvement
(i) Candidates in regular attendance at a CISCE affiliated school presenting candidates for the ISC Year 2023 Examination (as Type 2 candidates). The Principal of the school would submit the entries of these candidates to the CISCE, online.
The last date for admission to Class XII is 31st August 2022.
(ii) Candidates without attendance at a CISCE affiliated school (Type 4 candidates). To enter for the ISC Year 2023 Examination, the candidates are required to contact the Principal of the school, who would then submit the entries to the office of the CISCE, online. The last date for accepting the online requests is 30th September 2022. Online requests will be accepted till 15th October 2022 with a late charge of Rs.1000/- per candidate
How Many subject Choose for Improvement
Candidates who have been awarded Pass Certificates in ISC Examination conducted in the Year 2021 or earlier and had appeared for a Supplementary Pass Certificate in ISC Year 2022 Examination, will be permitted to enter for a Supplementary Pass Certificate in any/all of the subjects offered in the last ISC Examination taken by them as candidates in regular attendance (provided that the subjects under consideration are still being offered by the CISCE for the examination in the year in which the candidates wish to enter)
Last Date of Online Submit Improvement application
Please note, entries of candidates wishing to reappear for the ISC Examination to be held in the Year 2023 without attendance at an affiliated school (Type 3 or Type 4 candidates) have to be submitted to the office of the CISCE online through the CAREERS portal by 30th September 2022. Online requests will be accepted till 15th October 2022 with a late charge of Rs.1000/- per candidate.
The Admission Card, Timetable for Improvement
The Admission Card, Timetable and other information regarding the examination will be made available through the CAREERS portal to the Principal of the school from where the entry of the candidate is confirmed for the examination by the last week of January 2023. The candidate may kindly get in touch with the Principal of the school concerned, to collect the printed copy of the Admission Card and Timetable
2023 revised syllabus followed for Improvement
All the candidates who will be appearing for the ISC Year 2023 Examination would have to follow the Regulations & Syllabuses and textbooks prescribed for the ISC Year 2023 Revised Syllabus Examination. For subjects that have a Theory and a Practical component, the candidate is required to appear for both the Examination components.
